Hell On The Lipbalm
Archie bagged another victim; probably my 10th Burt’s Bees since summer. He’s like a truffle pig for lip crap. I need those old Bonne Bell Lipsmackers that came on a lanyard. Mmmm. What was your favorite flavor?

I think blistex makes a mint flavored lip balm. Maybe Vicks makes some with “mentholatum” (did you ever wonder just what mentholatum was?). Perhaps a little burn with the chew will cure his balm lust.

I preferred Dr. Pepper flavored lip smacker. Once in 3rd grade, I watched a classmate surreptitiously eat half a tube of soda pop flavored lip balm from the lanyard around her neck.

I’m afraid habanero balm wouldn’t stop the ruffian, Pierre. But mentholatum brings back memories of Vicks Vap-O-Rub on the chest when I was sick…urgh!
My sister loved bubble gum, but yeah, Dr. Pepper was another fave of mine. Funny, I liked the pop flavored lipsmackers, but I never drank soda. And I only ate what ended up on my lips, but I did occasionally eat paste. Yeah, me and Ralph Wiggins. I also snacked on candles. Mmmm, wax.
