Are You A Staunch Character?
I am, mostly. Although sometimes I worry that I am an s-t-a-u-n-c-h woman in about the same way Little Edie was, with all the loopy swanning and the loony yearning.
Then I think s-h-i-t, watch some Hulu and stop thinking about yourself so damn much. Gah!
PS: Is ANYONE excited about Drew Barrymore playing LE in a dramatization of Grey Gardens? I’m not; it hurts me in my love-and-squalor bone. Drew’s probably a peach of a hang, but I don’t see enough dire-flighty in her to pull it off. It would be a triumph if she did, though.

Damn, I bought the Criterion release of this about eight years ago and I have yet to watch it. Thanks for the reminder.
